An extraordinary advantage of this recipe is that it can be prepared with very few ingredients, and the result is unexpectedly good.

• 1 liter of watermelon juice
• 80 g of starch
• 100-150 g of sugar
• vanilla essence

First of all we need to remove the core of the melon and clean it of the seeds. The next step is to extract the juice. For this we need a blender or a robot. Strain the juice through a thick sieve into a saucepan. In a separate bowl, mix the starch, sugar and vanilla with a few tablespoons of watermelon juice to dissolve all the ingredients. Add this mixture over the juice from the pan and put everything to boil over low heat. It is important that while on the fire, we stir continuously, using a whisk.

We test the pudding as well as the jam, putting a drop on a plate. If it does not spread, the watermelon pudding is ready. Take the pot off the heat and let it cool. Then pour the pudding into the prepared forms (bowls, glasses, boxes) and put it in the fridge overnight. Thread the lids and cover the jars with a blanket, letting them cool slowly, then transfer to the pantry.

How do we get a delicious melon drink?

For this lemonade with watermelon you need about a quarter of a large melon, but you can also use the rest of the watermelon that you have in the fridge and that no one eats. You still need the delicious mint syrup I made last time. However, you can replace it with simple sugar and water syrup or honey. You will also need freshly squeezed lemon juice and water. A very important thing is to let the lemonade sit in the fridge so that all the flavors blend in and the taste is delicious. Leave it for at least 2-3 hours or even overnight.

After mixing all the ingredients, taste the lemonade with watermelon and adjust the taste to your preference. You may also need lemon juice or mint syrup. To serve the lemonade, I recommend using large glasses, which you can fill with ice, lemon slices and possibly fresh mint. You can also add small slices of melon very well cooled. Another nice idea is to freeze watermelon cubes for good taste and a beautiful appearance. This lemonade with watermelon is good only served very cold and necessarily with a lot of appetite.
